Eko Fresh is a German rapper of Turkish descent, who grew up in the German city of Mönchengladbach. He started rapping at the age of 15, was discovered two years later by the established German rapper Kool Savas and signed his label Optik Records. After he fell out with Kool Savas, he signed a contract with Sony BMG and relesed his debut album Ich bin jung und brauche das Geld (I Am Young and I Need the Money) in 2003. Since that he released 6 records, including the R&B album L.O.V.E. in 2004, that he recorded together with his girlfriend.
