Hearing the freewheeling and expressively unhinged range in Anna Ihlis's voice on tracks like "Dance," it makes sense to learn she's been trained in a number of different singing styles from a very young age. Raised on jazz, folk and traditional classical, her music as a solo artist has now settled comfortably into the rock and pop mold. The Swedish singer/songwriter released her debut album in 2010 and has steadily been winning audiences over with her upbeat and catchy material. Her star across the pond will assuredly begin to rise with a 2012 appearance at the South By Southwest music festival and conference in Austin, Texas.
