Barbarossa

James Mathe is a London-based singer/songwriter who releases music under the moniker Barbarossa. With an emotive voice, he first captured attention for his indie folk sound with his 2004 three-track EP, which earned him a deal with Fence Records. Barbarossa went on to release a mini album with the label, titled Sea Like Blood in 2005, followed by his debut LP Chemical Campfires, in 2007.
