New York City-based producer and DJ Derek Marin has built a grassroots reputation for himself since emerging on the techo scene in the mid-1990s. Never having signed with a massive record label or management company, Marin has instead opted to forge his own path and pave the way for independent electronic artists to follow in his wake. Never one to lose touch of what is sonically relevant, Martin has constantly updated and evolved his sound to include elements of tech, house and nu disco to keep up with the public's ever changing music tastes.
