Jake Atlas, who performs under the pseudonym Thriftworks, is a Berkeley, California-based producer who makes an interesting form of electronica by blending obscure samples with a forward-thinking, low-end sonic foundation to create a distinctive sonic amalgam that's well suited for today's diverse electronic music scene.
