Based in Leeds Fossil Collective is the indie folk project of vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Jonny Hooker and David Fendick. The duo creates soundscapes of soaring harmonies, often led by Fendick's intimate falsetto voice and accompanied by twangy slide guitar. After releasing its debut EP Honey Slides in 2010, Fossil Collective earned deserved comparisons to prominent folk acts such as Belle and Sebastian and Bon Iver but with pop song sensibilities. The band released its Let It Go EP in 2012.
