Most folk who have a refined musical palate typically shun pop music. The chipper melodies and, more often than not, overly manicured front person(s) tend to come off as fake, plastic and, above all else, contrived. However, naysayers of pop typically think twice about their hatred of the genre after they listen to Danish songstress Freja Loeb. Her discreet demeanor and intelligently arranged instrumentals are laid out in such a way that can only be respected. She started officially releasing music in 2008 and since then Loeb's stature continues to grow as she maintains a respectable touring schedule throughout much of Europe.
