With the startling number of contrived, and slightly plastic, pop stars dominating the music world, it's refreshing to see a true-to-heart musician who plays pop music with a fairly successful career. Case in point: Patxi. The French singer/songwriter has been at it since 2006 and because he comes from a country that embraces pop music so fervently, he's had to deliver the goods when it comes to his music. His aesthetic is not really what most people would expect from a well known pop star, but by being slightly coy about his demeanor and musical approach, he has set himself up for a long lasting career of performing and releasing quality French pop music.
