Famous for his production on multiple U2, Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel albums, Daniel Lanois is quite the revered figure in the music industry. However, production wasn't enough for Lanois and he soon began creating his own solo music, characteristically atmospheric, bluesy rock. His latest project that he has deemed Black Dub incorporates Trixie Whitley's brash vocals and a full backing band, with a style that conjures up old-time swamp rock that ventures into some eerie experimental territory.
