Manilla Road is a heavy metal band from Wichita, Kansas that was founded in 1977. After gigging around for a while during its formative years, the group would release its debut album, Invasion, in 1980. Continuing to release albums and tour, Manilla Road would break up in 1990 only to reunite in 2001. The band has since remained busy by releasing LPs and keeping an active performance schedule.
