Hostage Calm

Hostage Calm is a punk band from Connecticut that is known for its tendency to blend defined elements of pop into its otherwise fairly straightforward punk sound. The group released its eponymously titled debut LP in 2010 and the album helped turn heads in the Eastern Seaboard punk scene. Though some punk purists nay-say Hostage Calm's sensibilities, the group is able to straddle the gambit of pop-friendly sonic aesthetics as well as more hardcore characteristics and blend them into a cohesive whole.
