The Relatives

Some bands have a certain sonic aesthetic that puts listeners at ease. These groups are often hard to find because massively popular bands do not find success in creating music that engulfs listeners in a calming wave of soothing tranquility. One band that does possess this gift, though, is the New York based folk-influenced outfit, The Relatives. The band makes an unalarming style of bedroom rock that's easy to listen to and causes listeners to fall into a subdued mental state.
