Even though the Portuguese band Deolinda does not play fado - a characteristic form of Portuguese music - the style of tunes the group does create beg to be classified as Portuguese. With classical guitars, hardly any percussion accompaniments and beautiful Portuguese female singing, Deolinda is a group that seems to speak to the very essence of the country located on the Iberian Peninsula.
