New Found Land

Born and raised in Göteborg, Sweden, Anna Roxenholt was trained on saxophone in jazz schools from the age of 12 on. However, by her early 20s, Roxenholt realized that this was not the music she wanted to make, instead deciding to start writing pop songs where she sang, rather than played the sax. These songs turned into the duo New Found Land, which eventually worked its way up to an 8 piece collective. Now based out of Germany, New Found Land creates catchy tropicalia-influenced powerpop with vocals akin to Feist or Kate Nash.
