White Ash Falls

Starting off as the solo project of Yukon Blonde bassist Andy Bishop, White Ash Falls is a folk rock band from Vancouver that formed in 2011. With Bishop at the helm, the project evolved organically into a band with a supporting cast of musicians contributing pedal steel guitar, a fiddle and electric guitars, among other musical tools. While Bishop has played everything from punk to roots and 1970's inspired rock music, White Ash Falls is his first venture into folk, a realm he has admitted he's always felt a connection to. The band released it debut LP By the River Bend, with Light Organ Records in 2012.
