After only a few months of songwriting, Matthew Daniel Siskin found his voice as a pensive singer/songwriter under the moniker Gambles. Based in New York City, Gambles began to write songs at the end of summer in 2012, and by December of the same year he had written over twenty songs with his acoustic guitar. After sharing one of his first tracks, "Trust," with his filmmaker friend Grant singer, the two collaborated on a music video that has served as Gamble's first musical presence on the internet. With an ability to craft narratives through raw, biographical lyrics, Gambles creates music that is both accessible and relatable without being contrived.
