Though the Italian rapper Vacca started his career with the hip-hop group Azhilo Nitro, the musician didn't truly grow into his own until he left the outfit and launched his solo career. Interjecting elements of reggae into his sound, Vacca was able to achieve crossover success from the reggae and hip-hop communities. Vacca released his debut album, VH, in 2004 and the album helped to truly cement Vacca's role as one of the more interesting reggae-influenced Italian hip-hop artists of his generation.
