Of the various projects taken on by the musical duo of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, Front Line Assembly is arguably both the best known and most successful. Started in the mid-'80s, and picked up by Leeb and Fulber every so often after that, the Vancouver-based band's relentless combination of pounding dance beats and viscous, heavy metal guitar riffing played a large part in helping industrial music cross over and find success with more mainstream alternative rock audiences.
