Montreal-based singer/songwriter Laurel Sprengelmeyer, who records under the name Little Scream, has quite the impressive set of fans. These fans - including the likes of Richard Reed Perry of the Arcade Fire, Aaron Dessner of the National, Patty McGee of Stars and Becky Foon of A Silver Mount Zion - all are such fans that they happily volunteered to make guest appearances on her record, Dessner and Perry going as far as to produce. This acclaim amongst the indie powerhouses of North America certainly has provided Little Scream with the connections she needs in an industry based largely around "who you know," and once her full length drops, it's likely that Little Scream will shoot to the forefront of the indie scene.
