Cincinnati-based outfit The Pinstripes is a six-piece ska band that was formed in 2003 during the third wave of ska movement. Combining primitive reggae, rockabilly and elements of soul into its sound, the band is known for its tight instrumentation but swinging spirit. Though the band had taken home the Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Best World Band three times during the 2000s, The Pinstripes waited until 2012 to drop its debut album, I.
