Schonwald is an Italian post punk duo composed of Alessandra Gismondi and Luca Bandini. With a sound that bridges electropop and dark cold wave vibrations, the band released its debut LP Amplified Nature, on Pocket Heaven Records in 2009 and went on to play several European festivals. Schonwald's drum-machine rhythms and melancholic filters found an international audience with the release of its 2013 "Mercurial" single on the US-based label, Hozac Records.
