King Parrot is a thrashcore band from Melbourne. It thrives on its aggressive and energetic music composition which can be best described as tamed chaos. It debuted with Bite Your Head Off in 2012, after which its career was fast-tracked. With increasing popularity, it started sharing the stage with heavyweight Australian Metal bands and also embarked on international tours. King Parrot’s personality shines in its music videos such as "Shit on the Liver" and “Piss Wreck,” which also puts its morbid sense of humor on full display. Its 2017 album, Ugly Produce, received positive reviews from major critics, establishing King Parrot as a fine example of what the Australian hardcore punk scene has to offer.
