Dusty Stray is an Amsterdam-based band led by singer, multi-instrumentalist, and world traveler Jonathan Brown. The band plays alternative folk with surrealistic lyrics--one of Brown's main inspirations is the macabre work of artist Edward Gorey. Dusty Stray's music has enjoyed some acclaim in Europe--their debut album Tales of Misfortune and Woe, released in 2009, was named one of the year's Top 10 LPs by Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant.
