Andrea Rost is a Hungarian lyric soprano who has performed at some of the most revered opera houses in the the world including the Vienna State Opera, the Opera National de Paris and the Metropolitan Opera House. Born and raised in Budapest, Rost studied at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music under the tutelage of Zsolt Bende. After graduating, Roast would go on to make her stage debut as Juliette in Charles Gounod's Romeo et Juliette at the Budapest Opera House in 1989.
