Founded in 2002, Mariachi Las Altenas is a mariachi band from San Antonio, Texas that is comprised of ten Hispanic American women who have all been trained in classic Mariachi musical stylings since an early age. With performances in some notable venues and festivals including the Hollywood Bowl and the Mariachi USA Festival, Mariachi Las Altenas has grow into one of the more recognizable acts on the modern mariachi music scene.
