Sidney York is the pop music alter-ego of artist Brandi Sidoryk, a classical musician, vocalist and teacher based in Calgary, Canada. Along with fellow musician Krista Wodelet, she made her debut under the moniker Sidney York in 2008, unleashing an alternative pop rock sound that captured a following with its charming, folk leanings and accessible, multi-layered lyrics. York dropped her debut studio album, Apocalyptic Radio Cynic, in 2011.
