The Acid is an avant-pop trio comprised of vocalist Ry X and producers Adam Freeland and Steve Nalepa. With pulsating rhythms and organic sounding instrumentals floating underneath Ry X's emotive vocals, The Acid has managed to craft a unique sound for itself and distinguish itself above the myriad of other electronically-minded, experimental pop acts on the modern music scene. The Acid released its debut album, Liminal, in 2014 and the LP's intelligent blend of easily accessible melodic sounds and more dense, production noodling has helped the group win listeners over.
