Nicholas David is a St. Paul, Minnesota-based singer/songwriter who is probably best known for being a finalist on the third season of NBC's televised talent competition The Voice. Developing a strong interest in music at a young age, David began taking piano lessons in the second grade and voice lessons in the tenth, primarily focusing on classical and jazz music. Beginning his professional career in 2004, with the release of his debut album, Four Legged Light, David would go on to record an additional four more LPs and EPs before being noticed in 2012 on The Voice.
