Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks is a noise rock band fronted by singer/songwriter and guitarist Avey Tare, who is best-known as the front-man of the neo-psychedelic band Animal Collective. After releasing a solo album titled Down There, under his own name in 2010, he formed Slasher Flicks in 2013 along with keyboardist Angel Deradoorian and drummer Jeremy Hyman. Together, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks mastered an experimental blend of psychedelia and freak folk and released its debut album Enter the Slasher House, with Domino Records in 2014.
