The Flatmates

The Flatmates rose out of the UK's wave of indie pop during the mid-1980s. With core members Martin Whitehead and Debbie Haynes at the helm, the group released a string of successful singles, most notably "I Could Be Heaven" and "Happy All the Time," though disbanded in 1989 before dropping a proper full-length studio album. Over a decade later, Whitehead reformed the band in 2013 with a refreshed lineup, including Lisa Westerlund on vocals.
