The hardcore punk outfit Gift Giver emerged from Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2012. Powered by aggressive guitar riffs and metalcore overtones, the band dropped its first record, an EP titled Daddy Issues, in 2013 to acclaim in its local hardcore scene.
