The alternative pop band Manicanparty is comprised of singer/songwriter Jessica Corazza and producer Patrick Morrissey. Both grew up together in Minnesota, but approached the music in different ways; Morrissey played in different indie bands and in theater productions and Corazza wrote songs and pursued the guitar. In 2007 moved Morrissey to Connecticut to study acting and Corazza joint him shortly after to produce music together. After Morrissey finished his study, they both moved to Brooklyn, NY, where they signed with Treehouse Recording Studios-AtWork Management. The debut single "Rebels in the Light" and EP Manicanparty were released in 2014.
