Avid Dancer

Avid Dancer is the project of Los Angeles-based artist Jacob Dillan Summers. Though he has drummed in various local bands and released music as the front man of Rhone Occupation and one-half of Lauralaura, he grabbed the attention of indie blogs across the nation with a new, soul-infused psych pop sound. Summers adopted the name Avid Dancer, and together the band dropped its debut single 2013 "Stop Playing With My Heart," a slow-burning number that recalls sweet 1960s textures.
