Yuk Anderson is an American musician and singer/songwriter who is known for his soulful blend of blues, gospel and Western classical music. Son of John Sasandra, aka The Father of Urban Blues who had hits with Stax and Capitol Records, he was raised in an environment that encouraged expression through music. He taught himself how to play guitar and by age 12, he became the youngest musician to open for legends like Ray Charles and Earthquake. Through albums like Nightbird and Eyes of the Sun, Anderson has maintained his signature blend of blues throughout the decades.
