Joana Serrat is a singer/songwriter from Catalonia who makes a fusion of rock and American roots. With Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan as her guides, she released her debut album Liffey in 2008. The record brought her to Portugal and other surrounding countries where she found a following of pop and jazz-infused acoustic folk. She's continued to capture the attention of fans and critics with her reflective, introspective songwriting on records like 2014's Dear Great Canyon.
