Originally hailing from Nigeria before setting up shop in Chicago, Tobi Lou is a rapper whose unique style of universe building storytelling has helped establish him as a musician whose willing to take chances with his sound in order to achieve his artistic endgame. Emerging with his 2015 debut single, "Game Ova," Lou would eventually release his debut album, Live on Ice, in 2019 and the concept LP's narrative revolves around a dream world of cartoon characters.
