Based on the 1950 feature film of the same name, All About Eve revolves around Broadway star Margo Channing and her fan and assistant Eve Harrington. Margo, loved and adored by many, has commanded the stage for quite some time now. She befriends the beautiful Eve. All seems fine at first until Margo grows insecure due to her age and the preference given to youthful Eve by directors and producers. All About Eve is a story packed with glam, beauty, fame, jealousy, patriarchy, egomania and antagonism that goes on behind closed curtains of show business. The original production of the play stars Gillian Anderson as Margo and Lily James as Eve and has been directed by Ivo van Hove.
