The release of just one single - 2019's "Family Tree -" proved Caylee Hammack's prowess as a gifted songstress. Born in Ellaville, GA, Hammack forayed into performing live in her early teens, playing gigs at local haunts whenever she could. By the time her late teens hit, she was already touring with a cover band. Country music megastar Luke Bryan, whose mother introduced him to Hammack's music, took an interest in her career and encouraged her to move to Nashville after she came of age. Taking up the advice at 19, she moved base and after a brief period of uncertainty began to bag gigs at popular music joints. In 2016, she won ASCAP's Sammy Cahn Award for promising songwriters, joining the ranks of Lori McKenna and John Mayer, among others. Capitol Records Nashville signed a record deal with Hammack in 2018, post-which she set out to write her debut album, which featured her debut single. Over the course of the following year, she went on a supporting tour for her single, opening for artists including Miranda Lambert and Brothers Osbourne. Her first release of 2020 was the single "Small Town Hypocrite."
