After listening to the London-based experimental industrial band Advert, most folks cower and reassess their knowledge of what they perceive music and sonic construction to be. The member's of Advert make a drone-influenced style of avant-garde rock music that's shoddily produced and harks back to the days when band's didn't need studio gimmicks or computer software to polish their sounds. The group has been cranking out its signature brand of music since 2008 and while it might seem like the band is comprised of musicians who have no real instrumental prowess - because the music lacks any defined key changes or flashy solos - the members of Advert are undoubtedly attuned with one another and intent on creating a unique musical experience each time the band hits the stage.
