Tim Reynolds is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from based in Outer Banks, North Carolina who is perhaps best known for his collaborative work with singer/songwriter Dave Matthews, as well as for his role as the lead guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band. Born in a military family, Reynolds spent most of his younger life on the road, picking up various influences that would ultimately shape his distinctive style of instrumental playing and songwriting. In the early 1990s, Reynolds met with Dave Matthews while he was performing with his own band TR3, and a professional relationship between the two musicians began that continues to this day. Now world-renowned for his skills as an instrumentalist on a wide array of musical instruments, Tim Reynolds continues his working relationship with Dave Matthews on various musical projects that are consistently met with critical and audience acclaim.
