William Sheller

French singer/pianist William Sheller has been straddling the line between classical and pop since his first commercial release Couleurs in 1968. His high tenor voice lends itself well to his downbeat piano playing. However, Sheller also is a masterful composer who brings his music to life with lush string, horn and drum arrangements. In addition to his own solo albums, Sheller has composed scores for various French films as well as released piano recordings of the classical masters - which is widely regarded as his best work.
