Duck Sauce consists of Armand Van Helden and A-Trak, two DJs with impressive lineages in the electronic and pop music worlds. Van Helden, a Boston-based DJ, is known for his popular house hits and Midas touch remix work, while A-Trak has produced albums and toured with the likes of Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West. Together as Duck Sauce, however, the two seem to want nothing more that to create light, fun, house and electro-inspired songs with hooks that will dig their way into your brain. One of the duo's first singles, "Barbra Streisand," borrows liberally from a cheesy Boney M song, looping the sample over a four-on-the-floor beat and a funky bass line. Throw in some poppy guest vocal spots and a heavy disco influence, and you've got the gist of this feel-good party jam project.
