Xray Eyeballs

Originally the solo project of O.J. San Felipe, of garage band Golden Triangle, Xray Eyeballs was created to showcase the darker side of garage rock. Still leaning heavily on the noisy lo-fi aesthetic that's shared by a good amount of other bands coming out of Brooklyn, the five-piece also incorporates dark new wave synth into its music, making it sound like a garage band out of the 80s. Admittedly sticking to topics like "dark vices and sex," Xray Eyeballs doesn't delve too deep, but instead creates gritty, distortion-heavy party anthems.
