Brian Wright

After touring around his native Texas, playing primarily covers at bars, Brian Wright decided to go west and start writing his own music in 2006. After he resettled in Los Angeles, the singer/songwriter began creating folksy ballads with nods to protest folk of the 60s and old-time string band music. Wright quickly established himself as a mainstay in the LA Americana scene and began touring with his backing band, the Waco Tragedies, while winning over audiences across the country.
