Izabo is an Israeli indie rock band formed in 2000. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Ran Shem Tov, bassist and keyboardist Udi Damari, drummer Shai Yallin, and guitarist and keyboardist Guy Ben Shetrit. Izabo has released four studio albums, Time (2002), Superlight (2005), Morning Hero (2008), and Sun Will Rise (2012). Izabo's music is a unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic music, with a strong emphasis on catchy melodies and upbeat rhythms. Their lyrics often explore themes of love, loss, and hope, and their sound has been compared to the likes of Coldplay, The Killers, and The Flaming Lips. Izabo has achieved considerable success in their native Israel, with their singles "Sun Will Rise" and "Fly" both reaching the top of the Israeli charts. They have also toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States, and Canada, and have performed at some of the world's most prestigious music festivals, including Glastonbury, SXSW, and CMJ.
