Brazilian based singer-composer Kiko Dinucci has his musical roots in samba and MPB with much of it emerging from the streets of Sao Paolo where he was born. He was a member of several bands including the Personal Choice in the 1990s before beginning his career as a composer in 2007 in collaboration with singer Juçara Marçal. He coauthored eight of the songs from their album Padê. In 2008, Kiko and The Afromacarrônico band released a samba-punk album, Pastiche Nagô, which was well-received. Over the years, Kiko Dinucci has worked on several other albums including Passo Torto, Metá Metá and The Portrait Of The Artist When He Asks in collaboration with artists like Douglas Germano and Romulo Fróes.
