Novembers Doom is a doom/death metal band from Chicago that will probably go down in history as one of the earliest active US bands in both genres. Considered to be one of doom and death metal's foremost innovators, the dark, turgid grooves of Novembers Doom have gone on to influence countless metal bands throughout the world. With several critically acclaimed albums under their belt, along with a loyal fan base that is the envy of most bands performing today, Novembers Doom's continued success in the music business seems to be chiseled in stone (or perhaps flesh).
