Noise-pop duo, PS I Love You, rose the indie rock ranks rather quickly, getting signed to a hip label and playing festival showcases just months after its 2010 debut album, Meet Me At the Muster Station, was released. The quality of the Kingston, Ontario band's music is tough to argue with, however, and its perfect fit in the current indie climate makes the meteoric rise make plenty of sense. Lots of bands try to blend the disparate worlds of noise rock and pop music together, but it's a task that can often go awry. PS I Love You luckily has the balance down, bathing its catchy tunes in ample amounts of distortion pedal fuzz and feedback squeals that add depth to the songs instead of just being trendily tacked on. A promising start to its career should keep listeners aware of where PS I Love You will go from here on out.
