The Jezabels is an indie pop band from Sydney, Australia. After meeting at the University of Sydney vocalist Hayley Mary, pianist Heather Shannon, drummer Nik Kaloper and guitarist Sam Lockwood found that they shared common musical influences and decided to band together. The group released its first EP, The Man is Dead, in 2009 which showcased its very danceable and catchy songs.
