The Types is a garage rock band from Moscow that rose to become a preferred supporting act for some of the more internationally recognized bands performing throughout Russia. Although it might be difficult for one to pinpoint exactly which band or time period the band is trying to emulate (if any), the one thing that fans of The Types can agree on is that the band's four members have an incredible talent for playing rock n' roll. Even if old fashioned rock n' roll is not your thing, given the subject matter the band uses for its songs--which can range from sex, drugs and alcohol to zombies, space invaders and serial killers--one would be hard pressed not to find something to like about one of Russia's most promising garage rock exports.
